CoolPeel® & Fractional CO2

Traditional CO2 lasers are still the standard for etched lines, sun damage, and acne scars. Older treatments often meant 10 to 14 days of peeling. At Lifespark Health & Wellness in Roseville, both the light and the deep setting run on the Cartessa Tetra PRO. CoolPeel is the short-pulse surface treatment. Fractional CO2 is the deeper pass. Our family nurse practitioner sets the depth to your skin and your calendar, not to a package.

What we treat

• Sun damage and age spots. Surface pigment and mottled tone from years of Northern California sun. Deeper spots may need the fractional setting, or IPL first.
• Enlarged pores and rough texture. A smoother surface and tighter-looking pores. Glow shows first. Texture takes repeat visits.
• Fine lines. Crow’s feet, lip lines, and early creasing. CoolPeel softens these. Deep etched lines need the fractional pass.
• Acne scars. Pitted and rolling scars are a fractional CO2 job. A light peel will not move them.
• Crepey skin on the face, neck, and chest. Mild laxity can improve as collagen remodels over 6 to 12 weeks. This is not a surgical lift.

How a visit works

Every treatment is mapped and performed by our family nurse practitioner. Skin type, medical history, cold-sore risk, and how many days you can be pink decide the setting. CoolPeel and fractional CO2 are not the same appointment.

CoolPeel is often done with little or no numbing and feels hot for a few minutes. Most people are red for a day or two. Deeper fractional CO2 is numbed, with cooling during the pass. Plan on several days of peeling. Downtime follows the setting. It is not trimmed to zero.

Platelet-rich fibrin from your own blood can be applied after the laser. A glutathione, vitamin C, or NAD+ infusion can be booked around the visit. These support recovery. They do not turn a 5-to-7-day peel into a weekend.

Aftercare is SPF, a bland moisturizer, and no picking.
