What Tetra PRO actually is?

Tetra PRO is a next-generation fractional CO2 laser from DEKA, distributed in the U.S. by Cartessa Aesthetics. It uses an RF-excited metal-tube CO2 source and a scan pattern that can be tuned from a light polish to a deeper resurfacing.

That range is the product. One device. Two very different recoveries.

• CoolPeel® uses DEKA’s H-Pulse to ablate the surface without dumping heat into the tissue around it. That is why downtime drops.
• A deeper Tetra PRO setting treats more of the dermis. It is the right call for etched lines, crepey texture, laxity, and deeper acne scars — and it asks for real recovery days.

CoolPeel is a Cartessa trademark and only runs on Tetra and HELIX platforms. NewBeauty named it Best CO2 Laser Treatment in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. That award is about the light protocol, not a promise that every Tetra setting is a lunchtime treatment.

CoolPeel vs. deeper Tetra PRO

• Often one well-set treatment, or a short series — not six light passes.
• Brightness within days. Smoother lines and softer scars keep improving for 6–12 weeks.

How this fits the rest of the plan?

Laser resets texture. It does not replace everything else.

Is CoolPeel the same as Tetra PRO? Same device. Different protocol. CoolPeel is the superficial, low-heat setting. Tetra PRO also runs deeper resurfacing.

How many treatments? CoolPeel is usually a series. Deeper Tetra is often one treatment, sometimes a short series. Anyone promising a fixed count before seeing the skin is guessing.

Does it hurt? CoolPeel is often done with little or no numbing and feels hot. Deeper settings are numbed.

When will I see it? Glow within days. Texture and fine lines over several weeks. Scar and wrinkle remodeling continues for two to three months.
